Will my reprimand affect my chances of becoming a physiotherapist?

When I was thirteen years old I got into a fight and punched my attacker 3 times however I got arrested and was given a reprimand (what ever that actually is).
Anyway I'm sixteen now and want to study physiotherapy at university when I've finished college.
I looked at some uni requirements ECT and the majority of them require a criminal records check... what does this mean?
 
It doesn't mean anything for you. It was a childhood incident, especially since you were 13 when it happened. Just because someone does a criminal records check doesn't mean that it disqualifies the person necessariliy. Now felony for armed robbery and assult would probably keep a guy from being a cop or working at a bank.
