just a quick question (im asking here because i cant seem to get a straight answer from crickets cust. service)


my current phone is the motorola SLVR L7c and my current plan is their $50 plan they offered at that time.

my question is this... Will my phone work in Dallas/Carrollton tx?

I dont want to be caught without my phone there. so i was just wondering if i will be covered or will i have to buy a new phone/plan?...or even if i will be roaming. any help would be a great help

Make sure you switch to the new nationwide coverage for free then aslong as you are upto date on your PRL(do *228) you will have talk and text.
 
Not true either. If the phone is full flashed and has a proper PRL, you will have talk/text/mms and 1x data, as it is an area that is formerly known as PEC. It is a Metro area so you get 1x data. I was there a few times recently and had data on my Palm Pre and Moto Droid and used Google Nav all over DFW.
 
If you have had your plan since that phone came out, then it may be time to update it. I don't even know if PEC was out at that time, so you may want to check that. You can PM me your phone nuraber and I'd be happy to check it out for you.
