Will my insurance go up if I buy a Salvage Title Car.?

If I Buy a car with a salvage title, will my insurance rate be higher just because its a salvage car? The car was actually in an accident were they had to change the doors and the hood but the engine was never touched.. I live in the Bay Area, CA.. What would be my best option. Should I change insurance company or should I stay with the same one. I'm 22 years old
