Will my insurance company repair my import car?

Recently I was involved in a car accident. The car behind me drove into the back of my car when I was waiting. I was not at fault. I have a 1995 mitsubishi fto and the whole boot of the car is smashed. The door seals are cracked open. The car is an import car, and I was told that most insurance companies won't fix import cars, but rather will give it a write-off. Do you think my car will get fixed or a write-off?
