First of all, I'm a girl. Currently, I've been going to the gym anywhere between 2-4 times a week. I use the weighted machines to tone my arms, shoulders, back, and legs. I use around 15-30 lbs for my arms, 50 lbs for arms/back, and 40 lbs for legs. I do about 30-50 reps of each. Then, I run for about 10 minutes on an elliptical, and walk 10 minutes on a treadmill. I am trying to become more muscular, but not bulky.. more like a lean, healthy muscle. I am 18 years old, 5'1 and about 130 lbs. I'm not overweight but my arms are (WERE) a little thick.. but now they're becoming muscular. I have thick thighs as well, and a curvy butt. It seems to me I'm built to be more athletic than slim. So, with the routine I currently have, am I going to become bulky/thick-muscled? Or will it help me to get lean muscle? I am worried the areas that are thicker will stay just a big but be muscle..
