I am a dependent college student and I won $2500 from lottery. I stay with my parents. I haven't turned in the ticket yet, I have two questions: 1) Can I claim tax exempt, because I don't work or can I set an amount aside to pay taxes later? 2) Will this affect my financial aid for school?
