We have two federal liens for owed federal tax. We are working on paying it off, but the liens will remain for awhile. Our child has been accepted to a very good school and has received federal grants and a loan. We are concerned that they will eventually find the liens and she will be denied these. Should this be a concern. Is it possible that our tax problems can affect her grants and loans?
