J JTCRF450 New member Mar 22, 2009 #3 Depends on the eye to eye measurement of the new shock. Depending on the bike there is a lot you can do. I am 6'4" tall I have the same problem. I have a SDG tall seat, and foot pegs that lower and move them farther back.
