Will my data from fallout 3 work for the game of the year edition?

Ok I was planning on buying the dlc for fallout 3 on ps3, but i decided i would save more money by selling my current copy of fallout for $30-$40 and then buying the game of the year edition, since with tax all of the dlc's will factor to about $60 and and buying the game would be $60, so technically i would only be paying $30 or $20 for it. Anyways I was wondering, if i had data from my current copy, will it still work on the Game of the Year version?
