I'm looking to upgrade my galaxy s 4g (tmobile) to gingerbread software. I've been reading online that it would be wise to back my phone up before i go ahead and proceed with the software upgrade. Do I still have to back my phone up if all of my contacts are saved to my sim card by default? If so, does the Samsung Kies mini software provide some kind of a back up utility?
