yea he could still join but the DUI will affect his enlistment....he could probably get a waiver for it though. Good luck...the Marine Corps doesn't take just anyone.

Hello, I was wondering if my brother would qualify for the Marines if he had a HS diploma from adult school?
He is 23 and is about to receive a diploma at the end of this year. He was supposed to graduate from high school back in 2005 but he took the wrong path and made some mistakes. The worst things that happened to him were a DUI last year and he stole from a clothing store at the age of 14. Would these affect him his eligibility as well?
From what I researched so far.. I think he falls under Tier 2 category and must score a 50 or above on the ASVAB Test. Am I correct?
Please give me as much info as possible! I am his younger sister trying to help him get back onto the beat of life.
