Will my phone work in Japan?
My phone is Balckberry Curve 8520 with the ff specification:
BlackBerry Curve 8520:

* Quad-Band: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz GSM/GPRS networks
* Quad-Band: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz EDGE networks
Given this, If i insert a Japanese sim card, Will I be able to text and call then using my phone?

If your Blackberry Curve 8520 is an unlocked phone,you can use with any GSM network sim card.But if its a locked phone it will not accept any GSM network sim card from Japan.You need to unlock it to use with any GSM network in Japan or from any Country.To unlock a locked Blackberry curve 8520 visit the site Unlocking4u.com get code and using that you can unlock your Phone.Then use with Japan GSM pay as you go sim.You can make a call,use data plan and send Texts to anyone.For plan details you need to contact the service provider.
