I was accepted to UW with a 3.9 and very active in school (key club, fccla, ASB, and community activities). During first semester of senior year I had a gpa of 3.75 and second semester I had a gpa of 3.41 due to the fact that I "dropped" a class and replaced it with a different class to meet graduation credits. The problem is, the "class that i supposedly dropped" didn't really drop from my transcript. I was able to not take the class but it is "permanent" on my transcript and shows up as an F or 0.00, therefore factoring into my GPA. Now my question is, will UW find this as a case sufficient enough to revoke my admission?
p.s: my final gpa was 3.81
- And yes, I am drafting a personal statement explaining the issue, I wanted to get some feedback as well..
Thanks,
concerned student.
