I drove the car though flooded streets in New Orleans today while taking my girlfriend to work. I made it through the water, dropped her off at work, then returned home without any problems. 3 Hours later the car started up just find and I drove to work. I deliver food for a living and the car worked and started up just find for 2 hours of delivery work. And while I was on a delivery the car refused to start. I have a pretty good feeling that it was the water I had to traverse earlier in the day. Any ideas what I need to be checking? I am really good at repairing my car if I know exactly what to fix. I am terrible at the diagnostic part (usually a mechanic has to tell me where the problem is).
Forgot to post the fact that the air intake was dry and no water seems to be in oil or the transmission fluid.
