I recently dropped my motorcycle while doing about 30-40 mph. When I dropped it I cracked the stator cover and almost all the oil leaked out. I picked it up and got it back home. I took off the fairings and checked to see if I cracked the engine or something. I didn't see anything and I couldn't figure out where the oil leaked from. If I replace the stator cover and fill it back up with oil will it start? What do I need to check for? I haven't tried to start it because I'm scared I might mess up something. So can someone help?
