...aerodynamics? I think it looks kind of cool, but someone has told me that it will kill my gas milage because it messes up the flow of air over the truck. Is this true?
 
Yes this is true, i'm not sure how much it will reduce your MPG, i would take a wild guess of a loss of between 1-3MPG depending on how big ur tires are.
 
You have a Jeep.

It has NO aerodynamics. It's a giant box.

The most you'll lose, is somewhere around 0.2 mpg. You won't even notice.
 
At what point did you ever think your jeep was aerodynamic? Jeeps (except grands) are shaped like a brick.

Any introduction of new surfaces will have effect. A tire is minimal. If you are driving a jeep you should not be worrying about mpg. I put one on top of my Cherokee and I never noticed a change but I never checked.
