I have a bachelors in music and have taught music for 3 years in public schools. I am currently a long term sub for a special ed position while getting my masters in special ed. I still want to teach music again in the future but I'm worried that taking a "break" from music to teach special ed and get a higher degree will make me undesirable for music positions. Any thoughts?
