I just remembered that I left bread in my back pack. My backpack is now in my college dorm, which is 80 miles away from home. I am now home, and will not return to my college dorm for a whole month. After a month, will the mold go on my back pack? I have one piece of bread in a zip loc bag (I don't know if it is 100 percent sealed). I also have 1/4 loaf of bread that is stored in the bag that it came with when I bought it from the grocery market. I knotted the bag, but not very tightly... probably has undone itself. Will the mold grow on my back pack, if I the knot of the bag does not undo itself? What if it does? If the mold does grow on my backpack, is the damage irreversible? It's a northface backpack my dad got me for my college present, and i'll be devastated if i have to throw it away due to mold... and a stupid loaf of bread.
