Will Misdemeanor courts subpoena text messages?

I just got picked up in Texas on a possession of marijuana charge although it was not on my possession and I was riding in a car (not mine) where it was found in the glove box.

I am going to try and fight the case because it was not on me, but yet I got charged with the offense.

Although this was not mine this time, my text messages from other places will show that I have smoked before, and I am afraid that the courts will try and get my messages and it could hurt me.

Do you think that the courts will go to this much trouble for a little bit of pot on a misdemeanor class B??

thanks alot
