There is universal health care. One of the benefits and part of the reason pay is low for military is that they get "free" health care. Since that wont be a benefit any more because all Americans will have it?
There are always break downs each year of what the military actually makes with all their benefits added in. Will the military be given the money they are told their health benefits are worth if universal health care goes through?
Don't forget that military do pay taxes and when everyones taxes go up to pay for universal health care, military members taxes will go up as well.
