will macs boot camp mess up my computer?

if i use boot camp and i get a virus i can just shut the partition down right

what about if it crashes on windows can i get to the mac ok

whaat are your experiences with it
 
no your still using a mac so no virus even with boot camp but download avg incase thats what i do.
