Hello.
For my culinary class, I need 400 hours of foodservice work experience. I have a little less than half of that.
I used to work at Taco Bell. I quit because it was too much with school starting again (I'm a high school junior). I enjoyed my time there, but I was getting off and staying up until 3am to do homework.
The manager was SUPER nice. She really didn't want me to go, and I still feel bad for leaving.
I left on good terms. My last night, some idiot used my register while I was on break. There was a fake $20 in there, which I payed back. I had to, or I would have gotten written up. I hoped this would help me when I came back.
I know how to do everything except take drive-thru orders, and "stuff" (heating tortillas, putting hot proteins on them).
After next month, I'll also be ServSafe certified.
Will it be easy to get back on?
