I was just rear-ended tonight for the first time so I'm unfamiliar with the processes. When they hit us my glasses broke and I don't happen to have the money to replace them just hanging about. I had heard that they would be treated as a medical expense and therefore covered, vs something like sun glasses, which would be considered property? I live in Canada, in case that matters.
