I just swaped the engine to my 2007 colbalt cause GM denied the powertrain on the engine for lack of oil change paperwork they told me my power train on transmission would still be good, but is that if GM dealers only do the work and brand new engine? cause put a used engine in with 33,000 miles certified mechanics did it. but just got car back and feels like a shift kit was installed the way it's griping the gears and mechanic said might just be from sitting for 5 months with out being turned on or driven but if dosen't stop will have to take it in just wondering if it still be covered
well GM wasn't going to fix the engine ether they where just going to swap it with a new one and it had to be New for them to do work so they wanted a lot of Money like $5,000 plus tax where i got used for $2,000 plus tax and transmission worked fine before swap like said car did sit for 6 months
