Will I still lose weight if I boost my metabolism while having the same eating habits?

I do a lot of sports and stuff and exercise, I'm not generally a lazy person.
I don't eat very healthy. Fair share of my tacos and fast food.
But i still eat fruits and vegetables and salads and stuff all the timeee.
But my eating habits aren't what you'd call great.
If i boost my metabolism while eating like this will I still lose weight?
