Will I see Clerks on Film4 ?

Has Clerks been shown on Film4 already ?
I've just seen Mallrats on Film4 (thought it was pretty good) and now I'd like to see more films from the same writer.

No idea if Clerks will be shown. Mallrats is OK but is probably his weakest film. For me, Dogma was his best.

The only way I can see Clerks being shown on Film 4 is if Channel 4 decides to purchase the rights to the second movie sometime in the future and then decide to snap up the rights to the original as well.

Have to agree with the poster who mentioned Mallrats. It's definately one of his weakest movies. I thought it was rather lifeless with a really boring backdrop and many of the characters were unsympathetic. I also thought it had a very akward "cameo" type thing going on, with many characters thrown into it for the odd scene that never really worked

Well it's good that Clerks was shown on ITV2 as they usually repeat the same stuff over and over on that channel.

ITV2 are showing the cartoon tv series. I can't say I've seen the film on there

Mallrats is one great film, but the best viewing experience of it should be watching it with the commentary on, very funny!

It was actually shown on ITV4 last month I think - around the time Clerks 2 was in cinemas.

Frost have you listened to the commentary on Dogma that's just as funny as the Mallrats commentary, Ben Afflek taking the piss out of Kevin.

1:The first Clerks is okay the second one had a more stand up comedy feel..

2:Mallrats is way better and 10 times funner than Clerks but has more underrated than Clerks.

3:Chasing Amy was kind of a spin off of Clerks but less funny not one of Smith's best work.

4: Dogma was abit like Mallrats but more off beat did not see the finish alot of Darker Humour.

5:Jay and Silentbob was like Kevin Smith's more pop mainstrem style I like his space jazzy cult style better.

6:Jersey Girl Awful nothing like Kevin Smith's work.
