Will I see a difference between Panasonic Plasma Viera TC-P42C2 and TC-P42S2 if

I only gonna be using HD dish? I am new to this HD business. I have always owned a CRT TV. 5 weeks I just signed up with High Definition from Dish Network. At the time I had the Panasonic Plasma Viera TC-P42C2 which was a 720 P hdtv and also a Sony KDL40Ex400 1080 LCD TV. After analyzing both tv's for like 3 weeks, I decided to go with the Sony TV even though I love the Glass Glossy Finish on the plasma (that reminds me of my old CRT TV). It was a very difficult choice for me to make. The plasma had some good qualities to it but I decided to go with the sony because it was much brighter and I felt that it was a bit more clear than the Plasma. The only thing is that worries me about the Sony is that sometimes especially when you are watch lets say Larry King Live and in the background is all black, you see waviness of the dots in the background as compared to the Plasma where it was pitch black which is something that I prefer because I hate seeing waviness in the dots. That bothers me. Now the thing is this, I return the Panasonic Plasma Viera TC-P42C2. However this week they have a great sale on the TC-P42S2 model which is a 1080 P Hdtv. Will I see a difference between Panasonic Plasma Viera TC-P42C2 and TC-P42S2 if I am only gonna be using the TV to watch HD Dish Network? The reason I didn't buy the TC-P42S2 was because it was like $180 more and we all know that Dish Network HD broadcasts in 720 P. So that is why i bought the 720 P Plasma. Now the thing is, will the picture be more clearer on the TC-P42S2 if we just said that Dish Network HD broadcasts in 720 P? You see what was bothering me with the Old plasma was that sometimes when you are Watching NFL and you see the lines on the field like the 20 yard line as an example, the white line with the Plasma Viera TC-P42C2 wasn't a straight sold line, at times there was a bit of waviness in the white line. Was that due to the TV being a 720 P or not really. Please give me all the details about this. I want to know if there is gonna be a difference or not between these 2 plasmas because if there is no difference then there is no point of me going out and buying the TC-P42S2. Let me know all the details. Thanks
