I'm majoring in business, and a relative says it's ridiculous that the college makes me take a calculus course. He says he got his degree and just took advanced algebra. What has changed so much? He says the college just wants a good name for saying their business grads have calculus under their belts. I'm doing ok with a B average, and it's really boring me. I plan to get through it, but will I really use it after all?
Will I really use much the calculus from my business major?
