I'm a independent consultant for a direct sales company and I received a 1099 misc from them stating that my income was $0 but that I did $5000 or more in direct sales. I know that you're not taxed on your income unless it is $600 or more but what about the amount I did in direct sales? Will I be taxed on that?
Will I owe taxes if I sold $5000 or more in direct sales but had no income?
