I live in the state of California. I attend a two year college. I will be graduating in December of 2010. I have one child.
Next June, I have to move out of my boyfriends place because we are not married, thus we are not a "family". (landlord rules). We only pay 150 for rent b/c we live with his mom. Total rent is around 550. If we get married I don't have to pay the extra 150 for me to stay (staying as a "guest"). So we only pay like 300 for using the land.
But, if I don't get married we are stuck going to an apartment and paying between 700-1000 a month on our own. I do not work since I care for my daughter. We can probably afford it but we will be struggling each month.
MY QUESTION IS
Since I receive financial aid, and I also took out an 18,000 loan. Will they take away my financial aid after June if I end up getting married that month (will they even know? I graduate 6 months after that)
