Will I like Paranormal Activity

I am struggling to find a movie for tonight. I know a little about the movie and know there was a fair amount of hype when it came out. But it has been one I have been putting off, and off. I hear great things about it but it might not be my type of film.

Bear in mind that I love horror and not just gorefests. However, I rate The Blair Witch Project amongst the worst 5 films I've ever sat through and for some reason I imagine this to similar?

If you love horror it's probably not for you.
The film was crap, no scares and lame just a load of hype.
