...WHO HAVE A BLACKBERRY PEARL!)? Ok so, because my phone broke, I purchased a Blackberry Pearl off ebay that is compatible with my current carrier (Alltel..and as my plan goes, I do NOT have to switch to Verizon until my contract is up next year).
Anyway..I was informed tonight, by some of my co-workers that..I will have to change or totally upgrade my current plan, because the Blackberry is a smartphone, I will need to have a "smartphone" plan. Is this true? They said there is a $100 minimum plan...can anyone validate this and anything else for me?
