I worked as a CNA for a home health care agency. I was taking care of this older man. His grandson claimed that I was mis handling his grandfather and he told me to stop. This is false. The only time his grandson came in the room is when I asked him to come in there and help me pull him up. Next thing I know I was let go of false accusations. The health care registry sent me a letter saying that I was under pending investigation. I am so shocked by this. How can someone lie on another person because they did not want to help me pull their grandfather up? I got the letter in October and now its almost January and I have not heard anything. I did call the investigator but she told me she has not even looked at my case yet. If I had another CNA in the room with me, this would not be a problem. I have my Masters in Criminal Justice now, but I still want my name clear.
