will i get my financial aid money as a full time student?

i only have 2 classes registered which is 7 units for next sem
and the other remaining 6 units is on the waiting list...
will i get the full money for financial aid or just half of it?
they usually give the money the 1st day of school.. so how will they know if i get in or not
