will i get charged if my palm treo pro hooked up to a free wifi hot spot?

i just purchased a palm treo pro from sprint, i dont pay for the internet access, if i went to a place where they have free hot spots for ex my work, and my phone hooked up to that wifi, will i get charged for using the internet or is it "free" because i was in a hot spot zone?
