Will I bulk up by December if I join the gym next week?

I am going to join one of the gyms in my town next week (I have been to this one before) and they have a great range of quality equipment.

If I go so many days a week and combine it with cardio (I go power walking and jogging) and with a good diet, go on an exercise plan that the trainers draw me up, will I be able to have some kind of muscle definition by December???

The reason I ask is because I want to be able to go jogging in the summer with my shirt off and attract some attention as I am sick of my stock standard body and want to sup it up a bit....
