I see much that's favorable for this both in terms of your natal attributes and your approaching transits; the thing is that I can't really post it here because it's copyrighted material and it's really long, so I'm going to take the very little time I have to tell you exactly how to see this yourself. I hope you appreciate it -- a lot of people here balk at having to do any of their own research. As a writer, I would hope that intellectual laziness isn't something with which you struggle. With Mercury in Scorpio, I would tend to think not.
1) Go to www.astro.com and create a free membership for yourself.
2) Enter your own birth information and save it.
3) Click on your profile from inside "my astro" and it will show you a menu of free reports.
4) Your natal chart and some descriptions of the positions will be found by clicking on "Personal Portrait."
5) Partial descriptions of some of your transits will be found by clicking on the report called, "Short Report - Forecast."
After you've done that, a great source for clarification or additional information about either natal aspects or transits can be found at www.cafeastrology.com.
You may also ask me for additional info to clarify after you've done all the other things.
However, if you insist on the short, quick, cookbook answer, yes, you stand a very good chance if you can balance your ego during the process because there could be unfavorable consequences if you do not.
