...BADLY needed to go to? i was needing to get the support modified because of my low income...
i petitioned for this at the first part of the year, and they drug their feet up until just last week...
to make a long story short, i had been away to national guards for 2 weeks and when i came back, and needed to go to the hearing, my motorcycle battery was dead.
i would NEVER intentionally miss a hearing...i needed this hearing.
i have NEVER been in trouble with the law, (i'm 40 yrs. old)...and i've always tried to walk the straight and narrow. i am so worried to even contact the court and explain, or reschedule or whatever i can do...i'm worried they will put me in jail.
the letter i got from the courts a few days later said something about a "cash bond of $250"...i am so scared! i don't even have 250! i don't even have 50!
what do i do?
i just started my 4-yr college degree in elementary education...yesterday was my first day. if i get put in jail, i will get dropped from school !
