Will I Be Going to Jail?

I got on probation for a runaway charge as a juvenile, I then got a possession of marijuana and 2 pipes a few months later (all together), then another month later I got a petit theft charge. I have already gone to court for the possession but my sentencing isn't for another month. All of the above happened when I was a juvenile, I am now 18 so any detention time will be in jail. What do you think? and by the way I have learned my lesson and will NOT EVER be getting in any trouble again, so don't even play that card with me, I'd just like some opinions on jail time. Thanks

you may very well be charged as an adult for the theft charge. the theft coming right on top of the possession doesn't look too good. all states have diferent laws, and all communities have different judges. you could spend awhile in county. it's hard to say on this.

I say 30 days. maybe not even that. Maybe if your nice you can get a lot of community service. well. possession should not be that bad.

I'm not a lawyer, but I must say.

That sounds like a lot of trouble that you got into in a short period of time....basically in a years time.

I think that there will be some jail time involved in your sentence.

No, you haven't learned your lesson. You've got a few more crimes up your sleeve, that's what you do. And your life is based around when you can toke up. Yes, you WILL be going to jail and for the rest of the general public, I'd say it's safer for the rest of us with you locked up.

You will probably be going to jail. Make sure your pets can be taken care of while you are gone and anything else you don't want to lose. I would consider using a long term storage facility with good security.
