Will I be eligible to receive the 15000 version of the home buyers credit?

I closed on a lot in Oct. 2008 and secured an interest only building loan at that time. I am set to refinance that loan and close on the home March 11, 2009. I know that this is contingent on the Senate version of the stimulus being passed, but I want to know if closing on the lot in October will affect whether I can receive the 15,000 dollar tax credit.
