Will I be able to take my road test?

I went to take my road test thursday but i forgot my 5 hr certificate at home. the woman said to come again when i have it & gave me like a receipt. A friend of mine is going to the same place thursday & i was going to go to even though i'm not scheduled for that day. will they let me take it? I live in nys so will they just take me last or fit me b/w some others?
