Will I be able to play the sims 3 with these system?

Im planning to buy the sims 3 on weekend when I remember that I have a not-so-new computer.
Im using windows xp with Pentium Dual Core with T3200 @ 2.00GHz
1.87 GB of RAM DirectX 9
SiS Mirage 3 Graphics

I dont really understand hardware and I asked someone else to check my computer so I only copy paste what she wrote for me.
Im wondering if I can play the sims properly with these without lags or any other problem.
