Will hula hooping tone my tummy?

Going on holiday 5 weeks time and I thought I'd try a hula hoop to help see if it will tone me up round my waist and tummy..am I wasting my time or does it work?
 
yeah, although hula hooping will probably work your waist more
and remember to hula hoop in both directions (CW and ACW) for more balance
to target your stomach, 50 crunches a day is good
if you're trying to burn off some flab, running is good
even better is if you try interval training
