Will he move on or am I in for more game playing?

I have a guy friend. He was into me for a while but then he gave up and started dating someone. I then was interested a little later on. He was still dating this girl so I moved on. He seems to think I still want him, which is untrue.

Do you think my moving on will cause him to want me again even though he has a girlfriend. I'd just really like to be friends at this point but worry that his male ego will cause him to want to keep me interested since he wanted that so long.
 
He's probably only kidding himself that you still want him because his ego can't take the fact that you don't. If you want to remain friends, then tell him so, but remind him that you HAVE moved on and that you don't appreciate the insinuations that you haven't. Tell him that he was not a big deal...no offense but he wasn't THAT great, and maybe a girl will pine away one day in misery for him but it won't be you.
