Will guys moans during sex?

My ex don't make noise or moans during sex. The most is only gasp. But my current bf do. He moans and groans when having sex especially when he cums. His moans seems pretty natural to me. It's not like screaming type of moans. It's like gasp type of moans. I was wondering whether guys will moans during sex? Is he pretending? How come my ex doesn't make any noise? Plus as a female I don't make noise during sex. Am I abnormal? Just wondering.
