Will Fogger (gas insecticide) kill my fish?

Its like a fog that kills bugs. It says to cover the tanks. But when they say cover to what extreme? Will a standard hood work or should I saran wrap the top.
oi, a split saying. These fish aren't the easiest thing to catch. (tiger barbs) once you let them go in your tank, the only time your catching them again in when they die. But I don't want to take chances
 
I only have a small opening, and the tank contains turtles, so they breath the air. I just throw some newspaper bags over it and tape them down. Not really the most secure seal, but they never seem to have a problem.
 
not if u cover the tank so it doesnt poison the water but the same thing doesnt aply for rodents(hampsters guineia pigs chinchillas ect.)
