Hi, I'm almost done with freshmen year of high school and i was wondering if focusing your courses/extracurriculars towards a certain major looked better to colleges. For example, I'm sure I want to go to med school, so I'm taking chemistry honors over the summer so i can skip that class and take physics honors sophomore year. This way i can take more science courses my school has to offer. I was wondering if taking more AP courses science courses senior yr rather than taking an AP history course looked good, or should i be more well-rounded? I also volunteer at a hospital, and am hoping to volunteer at another hospital too.
