i'm black and have had natural hair for about a year and a half now. i like my hair and have been experimenting with it and different styles, but i wanna know if i can get a straightened style with the hair i have now.
i haven't put any heat on it the whole time i've been natural. i don't want to mess up any curl patterns i might have, but i see people that are mixed or hispanic with looser curls and flat ironing doesn't seem to hurt them. so can i?
