...opportunities? Okay here is the story I am a high school senior about to enter my second semester.I am a straight A student and am ranked number 5 out of 530 students weighted. I am student body president of student council, work 10-15 hours a week, volunteer at a museum of nature and science every other Saturday or so for 5 hours. Attend church every Sunday a good 2 hours every Sunday.
I am also a part of the Science-Technology club which a full year senior research project, with a formal presentation, and numerous research papers, and hours of preparation are required.
My senior course load consists of :
AP Physics
AP Chemistry
AP BC Calculus
AP Psychology
AP Literature and Composition
Student Council
This past semester I have managed to get 4 A's and 2 B's
I am concerned however with my up coming Science -Technology presentation and 5 AP tests to study for I might not be so successful my second semester.
Would it hurt my chances to get into college and scholarship opportunities if I dropped AP Physics.
Or what if I dropped AP Physics but still took the AP test at the end of the year. ( all the course work is nearly killing me)
Or should I just put up with this huge load for 4 more months... ( but I am scared I might get a C :/)
I applied to the following schools:
University of Rochester
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institution
Syracuse University
