Will dropping a class effect my financial aid in the future?????

Im failing my music class and theres no way i can pass it. If i drop w/o a ''W'' how can it effect me?
Im taking 14 units and this class is 3 units. Im worried it will ruin my gpa its barely a 2.0 atm.
I need to drop it!
